As tablets start to arrive in Malaysia, we have a new one from Samsung, which is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (FE stands for Fan Edition). We managed to spend some time with it, so here are our first impressions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE tablet.
Priced at RM1899, it’s safe to say it’s a lot more affordable than the much higher-end Galaxy Tab S7 Plus from which it takes its name, but they do share some similarities with the same 12.4-inch display. Both are also quite thin, with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE measuring just 6.3mm thick. It’s a bit heavier at 608g but it’s still quite light for a tablet of this size.

There is an S Pen and 8MP camera bump for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE
Coming with an S Pen stylus, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a magnetic dot on the back so it can stick to it. Combined with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, it seems clear that the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is designed for mid-range S Pen users like teachers, lecturers, and students. It might even be enough to replace the laptop for home users’ work as well.
Other tech specs include stereo speakers (one on each side) and an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The tablet also has a large 10,090mAh battery with 45W fast charging, but we’ll know more once we complete the full review on TechNave.com, so stay tuned for that.
This could indicate that the keyboard shell is powered by the tablet and will also be more responsive.
