We’re probably at least three, possibly four or five months away from Samsung’s official unveiling of the Galaxy S23 family, but the leaks started in earnest today, with renders of both the vanilla Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+.
As you can see below, the design changes next year, although these will still be fully recognizable as Samsung.
Leaked Samsung Galaxy S23+ renders
At the rear, there’s no longer a camera island to speak of, instead each camera is housed in its own round protrusion. If you think you’ve seen this somewhere before, sure you have – Samsung’s own Galaxy S22 Ultra had a very similar design. Looks like in 2023 it will spread to the whole family.
Otherwise, there’s not much to say here – the front is still all-screen, and the selfie camera still sits in a centered hole. The Galaxy S23+ will however be slightly larger than its predecessor, with the same 6.6-inch screen size but measuring 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm – up from 157.4 x 75.8 x 7, 6 mm, which are the measurements of the S22+.
Rumor has it we should expect 25W charging support, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Exynos 2300 at the helm. The S23+ would carry the model number SM-S9160.

The S23 will also retain its predecessor’s 6.1-inch screen size, measuring 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6mm – once again slightly taller and wider than the model it will replace, which was the S22 which was 146 x 70.6 x 7.6mm. Specs should be the same for the S23 as the S23+, apart from the battery capacity of course, which is expected to increase by 5%, meaning we could end up with 3,900mAh.
