The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G now receives the April security patch with the latest update (firmware version G781BXXU2CUD1). Another important point in the changelog is that Samsung claims that it has improved the stability of the touchscreen.
This could be the reason why the 5G model had to wait two more weeks than the S20 FE 4G to get the April patch. This is not the first time that Samsung has tried to fix the problem, the first attempt was in November of last year.

And it’s had a few more tries since then – some users are reporting that the One UI 3.1 update fixed the issue on their device. This particular update started rolling out in February, but was halted due to an issue, which was never officially identified (rollout quietly resumed shortly after).
Regardless, some Galaxy S20 FE 4G units also experienced touching issues, but their April patch came on its own. A new touch update may arrive separately at a later date.
