If you’ve been following the Samsung Galaxy Note 21 news, you’ll have heard rumors time and time again suggesting that the upcoming Samsung phone with a stylus won’t come, possibly due to Galaxy S21 series stylus compatibility in some models. .
A new rumor, however, suggests that another Samsung Galaxy Note phone may be on the way. Analyst Ross Young tweeted some information stating, among other things, “although now there is no Note 21 coming, we may see a Note 20 FE”.
A Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE, or Note 20 Fan Edition, would likely be a “ Lite ” version of the Note 20, in the same way that the Galaxy S20 FE was a more affordable version of the Galaxy S20.
Young doesn’t really seem sure about the Note 20 FE’s existence, so we can’t say for sure that it’s coming, and you should take all of this with a pinch of salt.
1) Now we see Oppo and Xiaomi each launching a flagship that uses a Samsung LTPO panel in 1H’21. 2) Although now there is no Note 21 coming up, we can see a Note 20 FE … 3) The lack of a Note 21 series means that the S21 series will sell for longer at higher volumes and may outperform the S10.January 21, 2021
When could the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE be launched?
While we could be sure that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE would arrive, it would be difficult to know when, as Samsung doesn’t tend to keep a regular release model with its flagship spin-offs.
The Galaxy S20 FE arrived in October 2020, six months after the Galaxy S20 launched in February 2020. However, the Galaxy S10 Lite, also known as the S10 FE in some regions (and fulfilling the same role) was released early. February 2020, more than 11 months after the launch of the Galaxy S10. Then again, the Note 10 Lite launched five months after the Note 10.
So there doesn’t appear to be a solid precedent for how long Samsung will wait after its flagship launch to show a cheaper version. We would expect to see it in the early months of 2021 if the Galaxy Note 20 FE is real, but even that’s not certain.
