Samsung is reportedly rolling out the November 2021 security update to the Galaxy A71 phone. According to a report from Sammobile, the handset is in the process of upgrading to firmware version A715FXXS7BUK1 which brings the latest Android security patch to the device.
In addition to the security patch, the update also contains fixes for security vulnerabilities found in the Galaxy A71. It also comes with general bug fixes and overall device stability improvements.
The new security patch is currently available in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago. According to the report, the update could be released in other markets in the coming days.
Those interested can check for the new software update by going to Settings> Software Update and clicking Download and Install.
Samsung galaxy a71 was launched in February of last year. The handset has a 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The screen of the phone offers a refresh rate of 20: 9 and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor paired with 8 GB of RAM. For camera tasks, the handset offers a quad rear camera setup. The camera system consists of a 64 MP primary sensor with an f / 1.8 lens and a 12 MP secondary sensor with an f / 2.2 ultra wide angle lens. There is also a 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro lens.
On the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for selfies. The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25-watt fast charging. 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS and a USB Type-C port are the connectivity features available on the phone.
