Make way for the Galaxy A53 5G
As often happens, smartphone makers slash the price of a phone when a successor is due to arrive. We have been hear about the Galaxy A53 5G for a while now and it’s time for the company to replace the Galaxy A52 with the Galaxy A53.
The next phone is should come equipped with the MediaTek 900 or Samsung Exynos 1200 chipset. Samsung is expected to ship the phone with a flat AMOLED panel and may retain the 120Hz refresh rate we saw in its predecessors.
In terms of other changes, the phone may retain the 64MP camera setup but may remove the 3.5mm headphone jack – which is one of the most requested features in high end mid range phones.
Although there is no official confirmation, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is expected to arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2022. Looking at the price drop, we suspect the phone might launch a little earlier than expected.
