Samsung has given us some of the most popular foldable devices on the market. Now an essential part of these foldable devices may be their foldable screens. Samsung has already started working on selling these screens to other OEMs, but they also need to produce enough to meet demand. Well, a new report from ET News Korea suggests that Samsung plans to produce up to four times its current display output.
Samsung’s current foldable screen output is 260,000 per month. It plans to increase this number to 600,000 units per month by the end of May and up to 1 million foldable screens by the end of the year. According to ET Korea News sources, Samsung Display is poised to meet the demand for flexible displays. It also plans to expand its display production facilities in Vietnam to achieve this goal.
