Samsung and ScoreVision Elevate Team Sports in Millard Public Schools – samsung.com

Samsung digital displays have revolutionized sporting events in Millard Public Schools, spotlighting student-athletes during games and building school spirit and pride throughout the district. The screens also provide a potential source of income through the sale of advertising slots during school games.

The versatility of displays extends beyond the sports arena. They constitute a powerful communication tool, allowing effective dissemination of information throughout the school day. With the ability to showcase images and videos, Samsung displays offer an innovative way to showcase student achievements and serve as a centerpiece for other school events such as concerts and honors ceremonies.

“Through this partnership, Samsung Displays and ScoreVision provide our middle school students with a dynamic educational environment normally only found at the high school or college level,” said Chad Zimmerman, district operations director for Millard Public Schools. “In addition to increasing engagement at sporting events, display technology strengthens our sense of belonging to the school community. Every Millard Public Schools student has the opportunity to appear on the big screens. You can tell they feel valued and recognized when their accomplishments are on display for all their peers to see.

“We are excited to collaborate with Samsung on a new and modern way to bring scoring to these sports venues. Samsung is a market leader in displays and, combined with ScoreVision’s software offering, it delivers a truly unique experience. The district-wide deployment of this solution in Millard Public Schools is a testament to the forward-thinking leadership of the district and each school. We look forward to serving and supporting their community for many years to come,” said Michael Medrano, President of ScoreVision.
