You may have seen the 2023 Grammys covered in other media, but the celebrations didn’t stop there. Universal Music Group held their after-party on Sunday night at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, featuring Olivia Rodrigo, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder, Joe Jonas, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, LL Cool J, Kim Petras, Adrien Brody, Chloe Cherry , Babyface, Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, Muni Long, Camila Cabello, Paris Jackson, Kiana Lede, Stephen Sanchez, Travis Japan and Best New Artist winner Samara Joy among those in attendance.
They were joined by UMG executives Angel Kaminsky, Avery Lipman, Ben Adelson, Bruce Resnikoff, David Blackman, Dickon Stainer, Elliot Grainge, Frank Briegmann, Gary Kelly, Imran Majid, Jesús López, Jo Charrington, Jody Gerson, John Janick, JT Myers, Justin Eshak, Marc Cimino, Michelle Anthony, Michelle Jubelirer, Monte Lipman, Nat Pastor, Richelle Parham, Sam Riback, Steve Berman, Tunji Balogun, Tyler Arnold and Wendy Goldstein.
Coke Studio and Xperience+ from Merz Æsthetics presented the after-party, with the support of Lucid, in the luxury electric cars from which the VIPs arrived.
From UMG talent, Joy won his Best New Artist gong while Kendrick Lamar took home three, including Best Rap Album for Mr Morale and the big step by step.
Reverb has partnered with UMG to reduce environmental impact and increase the sustainability of live music events. Both companies honored Billie Eilish as the first Amplifier Award winner, recognizing her advocacy for sustainability and the environment.
UMG used a Dolby Atmos Music system at Milk Studios, with 85 speakers.
