After spending weeks in self-isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam Worthington looks like a new man.
The actor, 44, debuted a disheveled new look on Monday as he and his wife, Lara Bingle, 33, took their children to a playground in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Looking at worlds far from his well-groomed days with Avatar, the hunk looked almost unrecognizable with a thick, scruffy beard and long hair tied back in a messy bun.

Sam dressed for comfort in a blue long-sleeved top, black pants and sneakers.
He donned a camouflage print backpack across his chest and completed the look with a black baseball cap.
Following local coronavirus restrictions, Sam dutifully covered his face – and a good chunk of his voluminous beard – with a blue medical mask.

Meanwhile, model Lara paraded her hairpin in black leggings and a matching sweatshirt as she carried her family dog.
Unlike her husband, the blonde was groomed to perfection, sporting a slicked back updo and a pair of stylish acetate sunglasses.
She accessorized her look with a brown leather tote bag and a black mask.

The outing comes after the couple secretly welcomed their third child, a boy, in June.
Lara and Sam, who are already parents to sons Rocket, four, and Racer, two, have yet to release the name of their youngest child.
Announcing her pregnancy in November 2019, Lara told Vogue Australia: “ I’m having a boy, early next year. He’s my third boy, and we’re all very excited and very happy.
“ I think any addition brings joy and happiness to the family, but more so when you can share it with the other boys. It’s such a boys club in my house!
Lara and Sam started dating in 2013 and were secretly married a year later.
