Sam Wood reveals his battle with Covid-19 and fears for his pregnant wife Snezana Wood as he launches his brand new health and fitness podcast
Sam Wood is gearing up to launch a brand new podcast based on health, nutrition and fitness while juggling family chores and his business.
But the former Bachelor star, who is married to Snezana Wood whom he met in the third season of the reality series, has revealed he is currently battling Covid-19 and isolating himself from his wife and three girls.
Wood, 41, spoke on his podcast, The Wood Life with Sam Wood, and is recovering from the virus as he self-isolates in his ‘family cabin’ at Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula.

“It’s just (been) like a bad cold and I’m on my sixth day. I’m going to test again tomorrow, and if I’m negative I can find the girls,’ the coach told the Daily Telegraph .
Sam considers himself one of the “lucky ones” because his symptoms weren’t as severe as the others.
However, the former reality TV star believes the mental challenge of the virus is just as strong as the physical, ringing some truth for Wood as he continues his isolation while his wife Snezana takes care of her pregnancy.

“Being pregnant with Snezana was the biggest fear, so as soon as I had a little cold I just thought I better get tested just in case, and thank God I did because ‘He came back positive,” Wood continued.
In the meantime, Sam has been focusing his time on his new podcast, which can be listened to for free on the iHeartRadio app.
“It’s exciting, and something I’ve talked about internally with my team and friends for a few years, but with so much going on, it always got pushed back into the priority list and a few months ago I I said I really wanted to do this, he said.

The podcast provided Sam with a new venue to channel his passion for fitness, nutrition, and living a healthier life.
He explains that he wanted a “broad platform” to discuss “all facets of health and fitness in a way that cuts the bulls**t.”
Wood adds that the podcast will be “real and raw” with an interesting and impressive guest list to boot.
The fitness guru will cover a new topic related to health and fitness during each 30-minute episode every Thursday.
