Anatomy Of A Scandal is based on the acclaimed 2018 bestseller of former political journalist Sarah Vaughan.
The serious plot of the drama revolves around the character of Friend – the young government minister James Whitehouse – accused of raping a political aide with whom he had had an affair. Sienna Miller plays his wife, Sophie.
The cast of the six-part series, which Netflix describes as “ an insightful and suspenseful series about consent and sexual privileges, ” also includes Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery as a high-profile prosecutor.
