At this point, it is common knowledge that device support variants are often behind the unlocked and international versions of the same device in terms of updates.
Well, that couldn’t be more true for Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 smartphones. These 2018 Samsung flagships are still solid choices, even today. As such, they are highly compliant with OneUI 2 based on Android 10.
Samsung launched the global launch of Android 10-based OneUI 2 for the Samsung Galaxy S9 in early February. The update has since rolled out to Galaxy S9 devices in various markets and regions, to the delight of users. You can find out more here.
Canadian Canadian, Telus recently announced that it will deploy Android 10 on its Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +, as well as the Note 9 starting today, March 9. Well, other Canadian operators have also just announced that they will roll this too today.
Rogers Canada, in a recently released operating system upgrade schedule, has listed the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 +, as well as the Galaxy Note 9 as devices that will be updated to Android 10 on March 9.
Fido also announced that it also plans to roll out Android 10 on its Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9 + and the Galaxy Note 9 on March 9. This is the enterprise operating system upgrade schedule.
Android 10 was released for the International Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for most of the past month. Many regions have reported that they have already received an update for this new version of Android. you can read more about it here.
We will keep an eye on this deployment and update when users start receiving updates on their devices. However, with this deployment coming weeks after the global deployment, we do not expect any problems as they should have been resolved to date.

Users of at least Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on Rogers and Telus are now reporting that they are getting the One UI 2.0 update in Canada.
