While the Big Three will be competing in CAF competitions next season, former Mamelodi Sundowns superstar Roger Feutmba believes it is high time for other PSL teams to prove themselves.
The Sundowns have established themselves as Champions League regulars in recent years and they will be joined by Chiefs, who will need to take the competition seriously this time around,
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic will compete in the Confederation Cup.

Feutmba says having the Big Three in continental competitions is a huge achievement for South Africa and he hopes for the sake of the fans that Amakhosi can take it further this time around.
“It’s a good thing for South African football, they are the biggest teams in the country and I think they are going to do well this time around,” he said. KickOff.com.
“Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have done it before, now the pressure is with the Kaizer Chiefs. With them losing the league in this way, being successful in Africa can surely do something for their fans.”

Feutmba says doing well in Africa will also benefit the national team as players will be exposed to international football and the pressure of playing against the best in Africa.
“So for all the teams to do well, it will be also good for the national team. This country has the best league on the continent,” he added.
“Dominating African competition can prove the power of South Africans in football. I think this is the moment they show it.”
