CASPER, Wyo.– After about 2,000 people reported power outages in Casper Sunday morning, power has been restored for the vast majority, Rocky Mountain Power reports. However, a small number of residents are still without electricity, and could remain so until the evening.
According to an update from Rocky Mountain Power, approximately 35 people remain helpless as of 11:25 a.m.
Those customers may not see their power restored until around 6 p.m., although the company added that it could also be restored before then.
The outage, which affected customers in area codes 82607 and 82604, was first reported just before 7 a.m. Sunday. The cause of the outage remains unknown and is under investigation.
