Rita Wilson did it.
The 63-year-old actress was in a bind long before the red carpet of the Golden Globes 2020 when her hair and makeup artist was more than an hour late.
Although she tweeted the fiasco live because it happened – trying to be “zen” all along – someone must have come to the rescue of Wilson, because the star has surrendered at the prize with her husband Tom Hanks, who will probably receive the Cecil B. DeMille award for all of his achievements.
She hit the red carpet alongside Hanks wearing a bronze sequin dress, with her hair completely curly and her smoky eye in place. The couple’s sons, Colin, Chet and Truman, alongside his daughter Elizabeth, were also present.
The pre-show drama left many people on social media – with Chrissy Teigen – guessing who was responsible for the accident and sighing with reduction that Wilson collectively removed it at the last minute. “I can’t go on until I know who, I don’t have a life”, Teigen tweeted.
It remains to be seen if Hanks participated, or if Wilson’s unique glam team finally confirmed itself.
