British pop star Rita Ora and her husband, New Zealand director Taika Waititi, were in good company Friday night as they dined out in Sydney.

The couple joined friends for a meal at Justin Hemmes’ latest Sydney restaurant, Good Luck.

Rita, 33, kept things casual in a simple white tee paired with denim jeans.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika, 48, opted for an equally casual ensemble with a white top, white shoes and smart olive pants.

The couple dined alongside Booby Tape co-founder Bianca Roccisano and Hemmes’ model girlfriend Madeleine Holtznagel.

Madeline, 27, and Justin, 51, quietly started seeing each other in 2019, a year after he debuted on the Financial Review Rich List with an estimated net worth of $951 million.

The Totti founder’s latest venture is the trendy Good Luck Restaurant Lounge in Sydney’s CBD, which offers a fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine.

Meanwhile, Rita is in Australia to launch her new haircare line in partnership with Anna Lahey of Vida Glow.

The brand is seen as the solution to the challenges Rita faced throughout her hair journey, particularly in repairing years of damage from overuse of heat and styling during her music career.

She said in a statement: “I wanted to find and build a solution to a beauty issue that I know myself and my community are really struggling with.”

Rita often travels to Australia thanks to her role as a judge on The Voice Australia.

She also recently spent time in New Zealand with Taika and her sister Elena Ora as they enjoyed a mountain getaway.

Rita and Taika – who shares two daughters with ex Chelsea Winstanley – secretly married in a low-key ceremony in August 2022.
