New mum Rihanna’s nesting instincts have definitely kicked in – she plans to raise her baby in her home country of Barbados.
The singing superstar, 34, who gave birth last week, is expected to stay in Los Angeles for three months before moving to the Caribbean island with her son and rapper father, ASAP Rocky, 33.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Rihanna loves Barbados and she loved growing up there.
“She wants to give her baby the same experience she had – away from the world of show business.
“She and ASAP’s family are in Barbados, so the couple are planning to move there in a few months.”

And it’s understood that she’s already decided which school the tot will go to when he’s old enough.
The What’s My Name singer has yet to reveal the boy’s name.
But he was definitely born with a silver spoon in his mouth, thanks to his mum’s £1.7billion mega fortune, which tops dad’s £7.5million.
Rihanna – who has had more than 40 top 40 hits in the UK, including eight No. 1s, and has launched makeup and lingerie lines – grew up in a bungalow in Barbados’ capital, Bridgetown.

But her son can expect a little more luxurious surroundings.
In 2013, Rihanna bought a £17.1million penthouse in one of the island’s most prestigious roads, Sandy Lane.
The staff includes a driver, 24-hour concierge, gardener and private chef.
The baby even seems ready to have a VIP godmother.

His mother will line up Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley, who last year declared Rihanna a national hero.
The singer also plans to marry the father of her baby in Barbados.
Rihanna and New Yorker ASAP confirmed they became an item in November 2020, months after the star split from her Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel.
The couple announced the pregnancy in New York in January.
