UFC: Welcome to the 29th season of The Ultimate Fighter! How does it feel to be here?
Turcios: It’s really cool. It’s badass. It’s great to be here fighting, in this show and on this stage. I feel blessed and grateful for this moment. It’s pretty creepy.
UFC: What will be the biggest challenge of the series?
Turcios: One hundred percent, it will be the fighting. It is time to fight. I intervene, it’s time for a fight. When we’re in there, we fight with our hands and feet. It is more than that; it is also this inner spirit. The challenge is to fight one-on-one with these guys, but that’s also the fight itself.
UFC: What’s your fighting style?
Turcios: I am confident in my style. My style is freestyle, so I am complete. I will be able to punch, kick in the feet in stand-up and I will also be able to hold on. That’s why I believe I can win this show because all the different fighters I’m going to face have to be able to adapt.

UFC: Why do you think you are the winner of The Ultimate Fighter?
Turcios: It’s gonna be me because I believe in myself, and I have courage. When I enter the Octagon, I believe in myself that I will do whatever it takes and have the skills to raise my hand.
