FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Passengers waiting to board a cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale were treated by rescuers due to the heat.
It happened Saturday afternoon in Port Everglades.

Passengers on social media have indicated they are waiting to board the Celebrity Edge.
@celebrityedge it’s completely ridiculous !!! Make us wait outside in this heat for more than 2 hours. People are collapsing requiring medical attention and no one really knows what is going on. We should all be compensated !!! pic.twitter.com/4P4d3dU5nZ
