The Telegraph reported that Daniel Levy is now keen to hand the Spurs head coach job to Bayern Munich’s Hansi Flick.
The manager is expected to leave the German giants at the end of the season, with Julian Nagelsmann already lined up to resume his duties.
Flick won the Champions League with Bayern Munich last season after a dominant display both domestically and in Europe.
Spurs have been without a permanent head coach since Jose Mourinho’s sacking at the end of April, with Ryan Mason currently holding the post on an interim basis until the end of the season.
The Telegraph claims Flick was due to take the post in Germany after it was revealed he would be leaving Bayern, but this has yet to be confirmed.
The Telegraph had previously reported that Flick would be interested in the Tottenham job if offered to him and he would now be in the market.
