London, April 17, 2024 – Rebecca Clancy has been appointed editor-in-chief, Sports carthis was announced today by Mike Spinelli, Head of Content, Motorsport Network.

Additionally, prominent F1 journalist Ben Hunt will join Sports carstarting June 4. Hunt has worked in motorsport for over 12 years, most recently at The sun where he was an F1 correspondent and motorsport columnist.

He is the author of Growing Wings: The Inside Story of Red Bull Racing (2024) and Lando Norris: a biography (2023). During a 23-year career in sports journalism, he has previously reported on Premier League football, Ashes Test cricket, Snooker Championships and Ryder Cups.

Rebecca and Ben co-host the F1 Inside the Piranha Club podcast and will continue this in their new roles at Autosport.
