European champions Real Madrid added a new pair of names to the club’s squad for the Champions League group stage on Sunday.
Los Blancos, of course, have had a flawless start in defense of their European crown.
In a pair of outings to date, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have racked up six points, finding the back of the net on five occasions, without conceding any in the process.
In turn, the powers that be in the Spanish capital have evidently decided that now is the right time to add some youth to the club’s continental setup for the coming season.
As mentioned above, a pair of starlets who are currently honing their craft with the Real Castilla outfit have been called up to reinforce Los Merengues’ Champions League squad.
The players in question? Vinicius Tobias and Iker Bravo.
For those unaware, Tobias, namesake and compatriot of Real star Vinicius Jr, is an 18-year-old full-back, who sealed a move to the Bernabeu from Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this year.
Bravo, meanwhile, is a 17-year-old Spain international, who sits in the third attacking tier.
Interestingly, the gifted young striker is a product of Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, which he left for Germany and Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2021.
