Although her time on The Real Housewives of New York City may be over, it seems Ramona Singer has no plans to leave the big screen.
The reality TV star, 66 – who left the Housewives franchise last year – surprised fans who discovered she was starring in a short called Friendly Distractions, which is currently in production.
A particular clip from the upcoming film – originally shared by director Adrian Lopez on his Facebook – has gone viral and features the singer (Natalie) sitting on the sofa and talking to her on-screen daughter Ella (played by Claire Tyers) on the phone, as she wonders if Ella is a lesbian.
After Ella tells her mom she’s getting a divorce, Singer begins questioning her before finally asking, “Are you a lesbian?” to which his daughter replies, “I have to go.”
The singer’s acting performance was met with mixed reviews from fans, who questioned her new career move.

Last year, Bravo essentially fired the entire cast of RHONY and replaced them with a new generation of women while shelving the cast’s final season into a spin-off, RHONY: Legacy.
“Bravo made a unilateral decision to get rid of everyone,” she reflected. “Send us all away with this.”
