Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy have called off their engagement.
The “Vanderpump Rules” stars made the announcement via Instagram on Sunday with a joint statement and a selfie that appears to have been taken at the reality show’s reunion scene.
“After these 5 wonderful years that we spent together, we decided we had two different goals and made the decision to cancel the engagement,” said Leviss, 26, and Kennedy, 29.
“We love each other very much, but we are no longer in love. We only want the best for each other, so keep all of your thoughts positive. Send love.
Both Leviss and Kennedy have disabled comments on their posts to avoid negativity from their followers.
According to several photos and videos shared on Instagram Stories, it looks like the special “Vanderpump Rules” reunion may have been filmed on Friday and Saturday.
The news of Leviss and Kennedy’s demise comes just seven months after their engagement. Before this stage, they had been in a relationship for five years.
“THE LOVE OF MY LIFE said yes,” Kennedy wrote on social media shortly after asking the question at a Coachella-themed event.
“I’m on Coachella’s moon,” Leviss wrote on his own.
Leviss still appeared to be wearing her engagement ring on Wednesday, as shown in a photo posted to Instagram at the time.
However, the last time she shared a photo with Kennedy on her newsfeed was on November 16.
