Rachel McAdams served up a stylish — and familiar-looking — ensemble as she arrived on Good Morning America in New York on Monday.

The Mean Girls actress, 45, channeled Trinity from The Matrix as she stepped out in the Big Apple ahead of her appearance on the morning show.

She rocked a brown leather turtleneck top and matching skirt with a thigh-high slit, along with a pair of jet black sunglasses – a look that fits Trinity’s style.

Rachel – who is making her Broadway debut in Mary Jane – beamed as she got out of her car and looked absolutely radiant for her press day.

She looked stunning with a full head of loose waves and a polished complexion of blush and lipstick.

A classic black handbag and strappy heels added even more glamor to the look.

Once inside the studio, Rachel talked about her Broadway debut in Mary Jane.

Manhattan Theater Club’s play Mary Jane follows a single mother of a child with cerebral palsy.

The story revolves around her and her relationship with her unlikely support system of women – including her building superintendent, a Buddhist nun, and a Facebook friend – as they take care of each other while throughout the struggles.

The play opened on April 23 and will continue until June 16.

“Mary Jane” is a play about a single mother who lives in Jackson Heights, New York, and raises her young son Alex, who is [2 1/2 years old]and he has very special needs that require a lot of help,” she told Good Morning America.

“It’s about the village that she discovers, which helps her raise her son and which keeps her alive. She is a truly incredible and resilient woman who finds joy in all aspects of her life, especially with her son.

McAdams, who plays a nurse, had a connection with the role long before she was cast.

“My mom was a nurse, so I kind of got a little taste of what it means to be a health worker and provide deep care, and kind of be stuck in a system that maybe doesn’t support always the best care,” she said.

“But it’s really rewarding. She’s such an incredible character – I love going there every night and discovering something new with my incredible castmates.

After a special performance of the play earlier this month, she told People, “I feel so honored to be here.”

“Broadway was something I had always wanted to do, but seemed really intimidating. So being on this stage feels like the fulfillment of a long-held dream.

Rachel explained that she still gets nervous despite the preparation, but that she “embraces” a healthy amount of it to help make her performance “more dynamic.”

“I’m less nervous now, but they’re still there,” she said.

“I’m still nervous every night,” she added. ” And it’s good ! We know there’s a certain amount of nerve that’s good and propels you forward and makes the performance even more dynamic, so you want to keep some of that.

“I accept the nerves!” It’s just new, right? “It’s like starting a new job: you’re always nervous the first day, no matter what, and then you get into the groove,” she continued. “I feel like I’m finding my brands.”
