Chelsea boss Frank Lampard downplayed the severity of the injuries to Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.
The young English coach revealed that Abraham felt “relatively positive” despite the fact that he had missed a few games in recent weeks due to an ankle problem.

With Pulisic’s injury proving to be as delicate as that of Abraham, Lampard admitted that the two attacking stars are anxious to get back into action.
“It is certainly frustrating for them, especially for Christian who has gone through a phase-out and is desperately hoping to return,” said Lampard.
“But [it is] only the concern I have every week when they are not in shape, it is no bigger than that. I hope that when I don’t give an answer, it’s not like I’m looking away and I don’t see the answer.
“I hope they can be in shape for the next two weeks, I cannot say this clearly because they both had their problems. It is difficult and my concern remains the same as for any injury . “
