After a not so long but very hot summer, the top flight are ready to come back to life for the 2022/23 campaign.

The Premier League is back and so is talkSPORT’s GameDay coverage!

The last term was full of thrills and twists with the title race, the battle for the top four and the fall of relegation, all playing out until the last day of the season.

The transfer window has also been very busy with a number of eye-catching deals agreed.

Now we’re ready for action ahead of what will be another exciting season – kicking off early due to the Qatar 2022 World Cup – and talkSPORT will once again be at the heart of it.

Crystal Palace v Arsenal

Coverage begins from 7 p.m. on talkSPORT (kicks off 8 p.m. Friday)

Our first GameDay of the season kicks off on Friday evening as London rivals Crystal Palace and Arsenal go head-to-head.

talkSPORT will have exclusive live coverage of all Friday and Monday night games this term and our team will be at Selhurst Park to set up the 2022/23 season.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown will be joined by Adrian Durham, Sam Matterface and former England striker Dean Ashton for all talkSPORT’s exclusive live coverage of the clash.

The Gunners have impressed in pre-season and will be ready to return to the top four this season.

Palace, meanwhile, will be ready to improve on their 12th from last term.

Coverage starts from 11am on talkSPORT (kicks off 12.30pm on Saturday)

Saturday begins at Craven Cottage as newly-promoted Fulham take on title-seeking Liverpool.

Presented by Reshmin Chowdhury, commentary will come from Clive Tyldesley and former Republic of Ireland midfielder Andy Townsend.

Fulham were promoted to champions last season and will want to kick this term and not get sucked in again.

As for Liverpool, they beat Manchester City to win the Community Shield last weekend and are also eager to beat their rivals for the top-flight title.

Tottenham v Southampton

Coverage begins from 2:30 p.m. on talkSPORT 2 (kick-off 3 p.m. Saturday)

Our first 15-hour deal of the season will see Tottenham host Southampton.

Antonio Conte’s Spurs claimed fourth place last season and much is expected of them this term after their busy summer in the transfer window.

As for the Saints, many predict they will struggle after their disappointing campaign last season.
