It’s one thing to predict winners and losers Survivor Series 2022but how about guessing the order of matches for the event?
Survivor Series takes place tonight (Saturday, November 26) at TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. The main card begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on pay-per-view (PPV), Peacock, and the WWE Network.
WWE announced five different segments for the show. Here is my subjective view of the importance of each of these five segments, ranked from most important to least important.
- war games for men
- Women’s War Games
- Rollins vs. Lashley vs. Theory
- AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor
- Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi
The opening match and the main event
There are only five matches on this map, so it makes more sense to book it with the two WarGames matches.
Becky Lynch’s return is a big deal, but the WarGames Men’s Match is the more intriguing of the two and also has Roman Reigns. I think that makes the choices for the opening and the main event quite simple.
This gives me the following map:
Segment 1: Women’s WarGames

Segment 5: Male WarGames
Everything else
There should be a title match towards the end of the map, which in this case means segment 4. Rousey’s title match feels like filler, which is weird to say about a star of its magnitude, but that’s what it is. Lashley’s title fight is best suited for segment 4.
WWE doesn’t usually have women’s matches in back-to-back segments, so I won’t put Rousey in segment 2 either. This means Styles goes in segment 2 while Rousey is placed in segment 3.
One issue with this match order is that Styles vs. Balor directly after WarGames isn’t ideal, so maybe WWE will add something new to the map and place it there instead.

Segment 1: Women’s WarGames (36 minutes)
Segment 2: AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor (16)
