If you’re a forward-thinking person with $ 250,000 burning a hole in your pocket, then take a look at the Discoverberry Bundle from premium outdoor gear maker Db. It includes a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo with a matching roof top tent and other equipment.
All of this gear is part of Db’s Raspberry Edition line of products which are in a dark color which is a shade mixing burgundy and eggplant hues. In addition to the Taycan Cross Turismo, there is a Strøm 2385L rooftop tent, a Strøm 60L wheeled bag, a Strøm 30L backpack and a camping kit.
The Cross Turismo and the matching tent have a striking look. The set of lights on the nose makes the wagon ready for a rally stage.
It is not entirely clear how Db arrives at the asking price of $ 250,000 for the Discoverberry Bundle. The company doesn’t identify the trim level of the Taycan Cross Turismo, but the most expensive grade is the Turbo S which costs $ 188,950 with destination fees. The trolley bag is $ 279 and the backpack is $ 209. The rooftop tent and camping kit cannot be that expensive that they are responsible for the rest of the cost.
While not quite as trendy, the money would also be enough to buy a person a real RV. Rather than a cart with a tent on top, you would have space to wander around inside and probably amenities like a kitchen, bathroom, and a bigger bed.
Porsche recently extended the family of Taycan wagons with the introduction of the Sport Turismo. It loses the high suspension and wheel arch liner of the Cross Turismo for a more road-oriented appearance. For added convenience, buyers can add roof rails and a rear-mounted bike rack. Sport Turismo deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2022.
