RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) – Raleigh Police said they were investigating the disappearance of a man who went to sell his SUV on Saturday.
William “Andy” Banks, 39, of Raleigh, drove into the parking lot of the K&W cafeteria in Cameron Village on Saturday to meet with someone about the sale of his silver 2011 Range Rover, according to friends and family. .
Banks, who also works in Raleigh, was last seen around 2 p.m. in the Cameron Village neighborhood.
Her cell phone was later found along Interstate 40 near Wade Avenue, according to friends and family.
“We spent a lot of time on it last night when the family first called it” reported the disappearance, said Captain Boyce of the Raleigh Police Department.
Boyce said Sunday night that the investigation was active.
