SAN DIEGO, July 21, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Today, physician and lawyer Dr. Brandon ross officially announces his candidacy for governor in the next California recall the election.

Dr. Ross is no stranger to comeback stories. A native Californian born and raised in San Diego, her own life experience was filled with grief and loss due to opioid addiction, but ultimately ended successfully.
Dr Ross attended the University of California, Davis, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in genetics. He will continue his studies in medicine and become a doctor while simultaneously obtaining his master’s degree in public health and his master’s degree in business administration.
After graduation, he established a thriving cosmetic surgery center; everything seemed to fall into place.
But after a serious back injury, Ross became dependent on narcotics to manage his pain. The need for relief would soon turn into addiction to opiates, which led to some of the darkest times of his life.
Due to his addiction, he lost a successful marriage, his family and a thriving career.
But that was not the end of the story. In 2014, Dr. Ross entered a life-changing recovery program.
After getting sober, Dr. Ross graduated in law and rebuilt his medical practice better than it was before. He has also regained custody of his children, rebuilt his family and lead a fulfilling life. He now runs a charity that provides free cosmetic surgery to children with trauma and radiation therapy for brain tumors.
Today, Dr. Ross leads a sober life, endowed with the tenacity, patience and perspective to make an excellent governor for California. At the very least, Dr. Ross hopes to be an inspiration to families with addiction not to give up hope, and that it can be overcome.
