A year ago, while speaking to Simon Thompson of FORBES, Jack Whitehall recalled his mother Hilary Whitehall’s reaction after reading Dwayne Johnson’s lines. Whitehall said he disappointed his mother because he didn’t share the video with The Rock.

Whitehall said, “(Laughs) No, I haven’t shown her my mom was Dwayne Johnson yet. She’s nagging me to put that out there in the world. Maybe I have to at some point. is really engaged. She did her best impression of Dwayne Johnson and everything.

He added, “I think she was a little bummed that she didn’t get the call to come to Hawaii and be one of her stand-ins or stand-ins, but I just said to her, ‘You didn’t quite have the physical for that, mother. You may have nailed the vocals, but physically I don’t think you quite scream Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.'”
