Phoebe Dynevor has revealed she won’t be returning to Bridgerton for the third season.
The British actress, 27, was at the Sundance Festival at the Library Center Theater in Park City, Utah for the premiere of Fair Play, her latest film in which she stars as Emily in a psychological thriller.
As she talked excitedly about her new movie, the conversation turned to Bridgerton and the upcoming Season 3 and the role of her character, Daphne.

Speaking to Screen Rant, Phoebe sadly revealed that the iconic character won’t be making an appearance in the upcoming series.
When asked if there was any interesting dynamic for Daphne in Bridgerton’s upcoming season, Phoebe said there wasn’t.
“Unfortunately not in Season 3,” she said. ‘Possibly in the future.
“But season three, I’m just excited to watch as a viewer.”

Filming for the upcoming series has continued until 2023, as the actors dressed in their stunning Regency attire were seen on Edward Street in Bath earlier this month.
Cast members sat in horse-drawn carriages as they roamed the city’s historic streets for upcoming scenes.
It comes after it was reported that filming for the third series was halted after bosses thought some of the storylines had gotten “too dark”.
Filming for Bridgerton’s third series began in July, with the new set of episodes set to focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

In an Instagram post, the now-independent movie star expressed her excitement about Fair Play heading to Sundance and had nothing but praise for the cast and crew.

It comes after Phoebe took to Instagram to share the sad news that her grandmother Shirley had died aged 89.
Earlier this month, the Bridgerton star, 27, shared Father Tim’s post which featured a photo of his late mother, on his Instagram Stories with fans offering their condolences.
Mum Sally, who plays Sally Metcalfe on Coronation Street, also shared the beaming snap as she paid tribute to her mother-in-law.
