Peter Kay announces performing once a MONTH at the O2 as he reveals exciting new London residency as part of first stand-up tour in a DECADE
Peter Kay has announced that he is performing once a month at the O2 arena in London as part of his first stand-up tour in a decade.
The comedian, 49, appeared on Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Wednesday morning where he revealed the exciting news.
It comes after Peter, who has been largely absent from the public eye for the past four years, announced he would be embarking on an arena tour from December to August 2023.
Ravi: He retired from the public eye in 2017, when he canceled a massive 14-month stand-up tour due to ‘unforeseen family circumstances’
But fans were quick to share their disappointment as the legendary comedian didn’t share a London date.
However, Peter assured fans that he would be bringing his first tour since 2010 to the English capital with a monthly residency.
Host Zoe Ball has excitedly revealed that he will be performing at the O2 Arena once a month starting in December, with dates including December 16, January 21, February 18, March 22 and the April 22.
As Zoe rattled off her appointment list, Peter revealed: ‘Nobody cares, basically I do the O2 once a month!’
