Peter Andre overturns his Love Island ban on his daughter Princess, 15, as he jokes he ‘will have to leave the country’ if she enters the villa when she’s older
Peter Andre has overturned the ban on his teenage daughter Princess traveling to Love Island when she is older.
The singer, 49, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Friday where he was asked if he would let the 15-year-old into the villa in a few years.
Pete joked that he ‘would have to leave the country’ if Princess ever decided to go on the show as he spoke of his hope that they pursue different ventures in showbusiness.
He said, “I think, listen, I say things jokingly most of the time. I said my daughter was going to be a nun for years and I was secretly joking.
“What I said to them was, ‘If you had a choice, I’d rather you presented Love Island.

“I always told them that. Try to be a presenter. Look at yourself this way.
“If they continue, I will leave the country!” »
In 2019 Pete wrote in his new magazine column on Princess seeing if she would be allowed to go on the ITV2 dating show when she was older.
He wrote: “She said to me, ‘Would you ever let me go to Love Island?
“I told him, ‘When they start doing Love Island based on priests and nuns and they do their sermons on Sundays, you can go to Love Island but so far no luck’.
Peter recently shared he’s worried his daughter Princess is growing up too fast, admitting: ‘You don’t want to let them go too, too fast’.
Speaking to The Sun, he explained: “It’s hard because you’re so strict as a parent, but over time you start letting go of the reins a bit.” You don’t want to let them go too quickly.

He also explained that the likelihood of the blonde teenager doing a reality show like Love Island is definitely irrelevant, but he may not have as much of a say over time.
“I don’t even know the words Love Island. Those two words don’t go together in my house, he joked.
“Look, I can say whatever I want now, because she’s only 15. When she turns 18, I might not have a say.”
