Antonio Conte has been accused of ‘playing with the handbrake’ as Tottenham struggle in front of goal again in the Champions League.
Spurs only managed two shots on target in their 0-0 group stage draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
It was a solid point, but perhaps they thought they could have come away with just three days after being beaten by Arsenal 3-1.
Heung-min Son was particularly wasted in front of goal in his 50th Champions League appearance.
That still puts them in second place in the group, having taken four points from their first three matches.
talkSPORT host Jason Cundy thinks Conte, who has been knocked out in the group stage in three of his last five campaigns, needs to tell his forwards to let loose.
“If Jose Mourinho had delivered that and at the weekend there would be people phoning saying ‘Jose out’,” he told Sports Bar.
“Son is a shadow. He’s one of those guys you’d love to play with. His energy, he tries and gives his all.
“I know he scored a hat-trick coming off the bench [against Leicester], but he would still be there tomorrow to try to score. It was one of those games where he didn’t hit the mark. Harry Kane was not there.
“I wasn’t very impressed with Frankfurt either, they should have hit the mark.
“Spurs could have won 2-0 or lost 1-0. A draw was a fair result.
“Spurs are playing with the handbrake. He [Conte] does not give them full latitude to take advantage of what they have up there.
“Away, in the Champions League, a point is never a bad point.
“You look at the chances Spurs had, especially Son, they could have had two or three tonight.
“If Spurs had gone out two or three, we would have said ‘good performance and strong defensively’.
“It was a fair result. I think most Spurs fans will be happy, but they have to do and see more in this final third.
Cundy and Sports Bar co-host Jamie O’Hara thinks Son will come under more pressure now, even after his hat-trick after coming off the bench against the Foxes in September.
Cundy said: “The problem Spurs faced tonight was literally the final call. Cross, shoot or pass. They were all really bad.
“Son is a little under [of pressure]. He scored the hat-trick, but he’s not quite up to it.
“He’s trying so hard.”
O’Hara added, “He’s probably trying too hard.”
