Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament and Eddie Vedder ‘have huge props’ for Taylor Swift – American Songwriter

During the 1990s, few bands matched Pearl Jam’s popularity. Considered one of the most popular rock and roll bands of the ’90s, the band achieved enormous success, selling over 85 million albums. Even rolling stone named them in their Top Ten Live Acts of all time. Not to mention they ended up being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the first year Pearl Jam was eligible. But in addition to cementing themselves as a premier group in music, Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament recently took the focus off of themselves and placed it on Taylor Swift as they praised her quest for perfection.

Joining Bill Simmons on his podcast, Vedder and Ament had nothing but good things to say about Swift and her Eras tour. After taking his wife and two daughters to one of Swift’s concerts, Vedder said: “She’s an artist who respects her audience and I know from my daughter that she’s really incredible at implementing these little hidden codes that they can capture. And then all of a sudden it activates all these people who are listening and gets them involved.

Not done praising Swift, Vedder continued: “I think it’s done in a very creative way – she changes it and we talk about what she played that night. She is able to continue streaming music and streaming music.

Jeff Ament shares his views on Taylor Swift

Not letting Vedder take all the praise, Ament added his own take on Swift, suggesting, “A few records ago I chose to work with the Aaron Dessner guy from The National and Bon Iver – like those songs were the most interesting for me. songs, because I think I like this palette.
