Paul Gascoigne sat down for lunch with his personal manager Katie Davies in Milan on Friday following his early exit from the TV show L’Isola dei Famosi with a shoulder injury.
The former footballer, 53, was forced to quit the reality series in April after suffering persistent shoulder pain from an injury sustained during an endurance match.
And he seemed to be on the mend as he arrived at the outdoor restaurant without an arm splint.

The star kept things casual in a leather bomber jacket and shorts while manager Katie also cut a low-key figure in jeans and a black top.
She removed her card from her purse to cover the bill before the duo left the room together.
Paul, who gave up smoking and drinking alcohol to appear on the Italian reality TV show, has proven that old habits are dead by smoking a cigarette outside of the cafe.
Reports in April revealed that the sportsman was forced to leave L’Isola dei Famosi, around a month after his debut.

Previously, the former Tottenham ace Hostpur had revealed that he would be ready to return to the program despite his accident.

However, he was seen appearing on the show with his arm in a sling, and in recent footage taken at his hotel, he was seen sporting the protective aid.
The sports legend was said to have faced “ mental challenges ” as his injury forced him to skip physical matches on the show, ahead of his official release.
According to The Sun, Paul said: “ It hurts when I hear people say things like that, especially since when we arrived we were all friends and now people are against each other.

“I had 30,000 people angry every weekend saying, ‘You’re fat bitch’. So you think two or three people complaining about me behind my back are going to hurt me? No, I’m just going to laugh.
Of how he was participating in the series, a source told the publication last month: ‘He can’t do anything physical for at least two weeks, but the goal is for him to be mentally disabled.
“We are looking at Italian tests or maybe arithmetic or geography questions.”
The media personality was reportedly paid around 7,000 euros (£ 5,981) for each week of participation on the show.
