Paris Saint-Germain have an interest in signing Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, according to talkSPORT.
However, the Red Devils are yet to receive a formal approach from the French champions for Rashford.
It comes after PSG head coach Christophe Galtier told a press conference on Thursday that he intended to sign a new striker this summer, with Mauro Icardi and Arnaud Kalimuendo expected to leave the club.
“We are going to sign a new striker, as we are looking to find a solution for Mauro Icardi and Kalimuendo will join Rennes,” Galtier said, reported by fabrice romano.
Rashford has been with Man United since he was seven years old and a departure from Old Trafford would be a very surprising move.
However, the Red Devils could face the prospect of losing the 24-year-old on a free transfer with his contract expiring in June 2023, but there is an option for the deal to be extended for a further year. .
Erik ten Hag is on the hunt for a new striker amid uncertainty over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with Alvaro Morata the latest name to be linked with the club.
Rashford played in Man United’s 2-1 loss to Brighton last weekend and struggled to keep his composure in front of goal.
But after a few difficult seasons, Rashford has had a spring in the summer under new manager Erik ten Hag.

Speaking of Ten Hag’s impact on him and fellow strikers Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial, Rashford said in July: “He just wants us to be positive.
“He wants us to do everything in a positive way, so for us that means a lot of forward running, a lot of swapping positions, trying to link up with each other on the ball.
“It’s fun to play, we enjoy it, so hopefully we can start and achieve those kind of performances during the season.”
Rashford are set to feature in Man United’s second league game of the season as they travel to Brentford on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, PSG began their Ligue 1 title defense with a 5-0 crush of Clermont Foot. Lionel Messi scored twice, while Neymar, Achraf Hakimi and Marquinhos also netted.
