Panini Prizm Draft Picks 2020-21 Basketball Blaster Box Breakdown – Beckett Media, LLC

2020-21 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Basketball has recently started appearing in retail stores. Here are the highlights of two retail blaster boxes.

These have seven packs with four cards per pack, with a chance to draw autographs and rare downtown inserts. Blaster exclusives include the Purple Wave and Green Pulsar Prizm parallels.

Green Prizms:

  • Tyrese Maxey
  • Saddiq Bey
  • Deni Avdija
  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • Kira Lewis Jr.
  • Cassius stanley
  • Devon dotson
  • Zeke Nnaji
  • Obi Toppin (crusade)
  • Bal LaMelo (Crusade)

Out of the 14 packs, 10 green Prizms emerged. Each pack that did not contain a different colored Prizm had a green, so these appear to be the “common” insert draw of the set. A decent array of players in this group, including lottery picks Avdija, Haliburton, and Lewis Jr., as well as the Ball and Toppin Crusades.

Silver Prize:

  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • Aaron Nesmith (Crusade)

The Silver hit one per box. I don’t have anything overwhelming, with the Haliburton trend in the $ 4-10 price range.

Violet Wave Prizms:

  • Payton pritchard
  • Zeke Nnaji

Purple waves also hit one per box. If that’s the current trend, those would be easier hits than the Purple Wave Prizms of the 2019-2020 Panini Prizm Basketball Blaster Boxes. The Pac 12 is pictured here with Nnaji and Prichard, which has seen sales of up to $ 10.

Overall, these two boxes produced what a collector would typically expect. No autograph is not surprising, as these are retail highlights. The absence of Green Pulsar Prizm is standard and they are serial numbered 25.

Breaking a box is sure to whet the appetite of collectors for what is to come. The challenge, of course, continues to be finding one in stock at the local retailer.
