England win an unassailable 2-0 in the final test and will be looking to complete a series in Pakistan for the first time ever.

Brendon McCullum’s first away series as England Test manager resulted in a series win, as did Ben Stokes’ first away series as captain, making the all-rounder the third English captain to achieve the feat.

Victory in Multan earlier in the week was only England’s fourth win in Pakistan history, with the hosts now having lost three consecutive home games for the first time since 1959.

Although they have already won the series and are arguably the best Test team in the world, having won eight out of nine games since the start of the English summer, the visitors actually enter the third Test. as underdogs, priced at 13/8 with bet365.

Pakistan are slightly ahead at 11/8, with a price draw of 3/1.

Young England starlet Harry Brook is the series leading scorer so far with 357 runs at an average of 89, including two centuries and fifty over four innings.

Pakistani spinners Zahid Mahmood and Abrar Ahmed enter the final Test as leading wicket takers at 12 and 11 respectively, the latter playing just one match and taking a 7fer in the opening innings in the Test debut of the week last.

England will have time to relax after the Karachi Test, which is due to end next Wednesday, ahead of an ODI series in South Africa which begins on January 27 in Bloemfontein.

The Test team will not be in action again until February 16, when it will have two rounds of testing in New Zealand.
