The 52-year-old cookbook author bundled up in an understated green trench coat which she threw on a black and white striped top and dark blue bootcut jeans for the mother-daughter date.
The Top Chef host was spotted in a pair of brown pointy toe boots as they walked the streets of the bustling city.
The Taste The Nation star, who recently said she’s had endometriosis since she was 13 and expressed her frustration at the lack of medication for the chronic condition, shielded her eyes from the sun with a wide-framed pair of sunglasses.
The actress appeared to be shopping with her 13-year-old daughter as she carried a small white shopping bag.

Krishna – whom Padma welcomed in 2010 from her previous relationship with venture capitalist Adam Dell – opted for a more casual look.
She was seen in a black cropped puff jacket by North Face and a pair of medium wash denim baggy jeans.
She put on a pair of white sneakers and wore a pair of headphones around her neck.
Like her mother, she left her auburn hair in loose, relaxed waves.
Recently, Padma opened up about her decades-long battle with endometriosis.
The Mayo Clinic defines endometriosis as “an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus.”
In an article published by The Guardian on Wednesday, she revealed that she began to suffer from the chronic condition when she was 13 years old.
“Every month, being in bed for a week, trying everything and nothing helps,” she said.

“So many exams, homework, first or second dates, family occasions that I missed because I couldn’t attend,” she added.

Padma expressed her frustration with how extensively male reproductive disorders are studied in comparison and have drugs to treat the disease.
“If I had erectile dysfunction, there would be a lot of medication for me,” said the producer – who has undergone surgery for the condition. “But for endometriosis, not one.
