Fierce after 50 years! 12-time Emmy nominee Padma Lakshmi showcased her shaped 5-foot-9 figure at Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley world premiere on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Wednesday

Lakshmi (née Vaidynathan) wore her raven locks in the middle and she wore minimal makeup for the film’s festivities.

Last Saturday, the Taste the Nation star designer admitted spending “inordinate amounts of time in the gym” to maintain her beautiful body.

“I put on 10 to 15 pounds each season on Top Chef, and I’m in the gym five to six days a week when we’re not filming,” Padma told USA Today’s Modern Woman magazine.

“If I’m traveling or if I’m short on time, I’ll jump rope, which is an amazing cardio workout, or climb 40 stairs in 30 minutes. I also drink lots of water every day and eat a healthy diet, mostly plant-based. ‘

Lakshmi plans to roast another turkey to celebrate the Christmas holidays with her 11-year-old daughter Krishna Thea (with venture capitalist Adam Dell).

“I start cooking the turkey the night before, starting at midnight and letting it cook slowly until 6 am,” explained the author of Tomatoes for Neela.

“Then I keep the turkey warm in the oven while I prepare side dishes like roasted vegetables, stuffing, and cranberry chutney. I also make homemade gravy and use the leftovers to make a turkey pie the next day.

Padma will be the next executive producer and host Top Chef’s 19th season in Houston – which premiered in early 2022 on Bravo – alongside judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons.
