The true love story of Ozzy and Sharon osbourne heads to the big screen with a biopic of Sony Pictures, Variety reports. The still untitled project will dramatize one of the most resistant marriages in all rock music.
At the helm of the project is nominated for an Oscar Lee hall (Rocket man, Billy Elliot), who will chronicle the English couple’s relationship through the days of Oz Man in Black sabbath through the 15 minutes of family fame on MTV‘s The Osbournes.
“Our relationship was wild, crazy and dangerous at times, but it was our undying love that kept us together,” Sharon Osbourne said in a statement. “We are delighted to partner with Sony Pictures and Polygram to bring our story to the screen.”

The film will also focus on Ozzy’s seven decades as a musician, with selections from the Black Sabbath and Ozzy solo catalog featured throughout. Sharon will produce the film alongside her children Jack and Aimee Osbourne via their label Osbourne Media. The family entertainment company was behind documentaries such as 2011 God bless Ozzy Osbourne and 2020 A& E Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne. Also on board to produce are Michele Antoine (Beastie Boys Story) and David blackman (The velvet metro) on behalf of Polygram. Andrea Giannetti oversees development for Sony.
