TAMPA, Florida, March 23, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Osceola Capital (“Osceola“), a lower mid-market private equity firm, today announced the formation of Revelation Pharma Corp. to pursue investments and partnerships in the pharmaceutical compounding market in partnership with an industry veteran Jacob Beckel.
In parallel with the formation of Revelation Pharma Corp (“Revelation”), the company finalized the acquisition of Pensacola, FloridaEverwell Specialty Pharmacy (“Everwell”). The acquisition should be closely followed by several add-ons. The pharmacies concerned function as 503A preparers, which prepare specially compounded drugs. Osceola and Mr. Beckel have identified a rich pipeline of additional transactions. Revelation is the eighth platform of Osceola Fund I, the company’s flagship institutional fund.
As part of this partnership, Révélation and Osceola will seek to acquire and develop a national partnership of 503A preparation pharmacies. The universal formula of mass-produced drugs does not meet the individual needs of each patient. Dispensing pharmacies prepare high quality personalized prescriptions to meet the exact clinical need and often improve the quality of life for patients. The Apocalypse corporate team will be led by Richard Case, a healthcare M&A industry veteran, with significant experience in acquisitions of lower middle market healthcare companies that operate in highly regulated industries. Revelation’s areas of interest include product expertise in hormone replacement therapy (“HRT”), integrative health, anti-infective, analgesics, veterinarians and many other therapeutic classes.
Founded in 2003 by Chris Schulte, Everwell serves patients throughout Florida and the southeast. Everwell has a particular focus on anti-infective as well as specialty pharmacies and other general prep preparations.
Mr. Beckel has extensive experience in the compounding field, most recently as Founder and CEO of AnazaoHealth Corporation, a leading compounding pharmacy which has successfully completed 13 acquisitions and was ultimately acquired by Fagron NV, the world’s largest publicly traded composition company. Over more than 30 years in the compounding industry, Mr. Beckel has built a reputation as a leader in the compounding industry. He has been President of the International Journal for Pharmaceutical Compounding since 1997 and remains active with the American Pharmaceutical Association, the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC) and the Florida Pharmacy Association.
