Orville Peck Gets Elton John, Allison Russell and More for ‘Stampede: Vol.  1’ |  Exclaim!  – Exclaim!

It’s hard to believe that it’s technically been less than a month since Orville Peck started teasing his upcoming duets album. Stampede with the announcement of his first single: a rendition of “Cowboys Are Frequency Secretly Fond of Each Other” featuring Willie Nelson.

The singer-songwriter’s debut album on Warner Records now has a release date and a list of collaborators – at least for its first part. Hustle: Vol. 1 arrives May 10 and features additional appearances from Elton John, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, Noah Cyrus, Midland and Bu Cuaron.

The previously unreleased inclusion of “Vol. 1” in the album title indicates that this may be a larger project than your average LP that will be released in installments. Peck remains shrouded in masked mystery! In the meantime, you can pre-register Hustle: Vol. 1 here.
