The couple are on an Italian getaway with other close family members, staying at the beautiful Aman Hotel – which costs nearly € 5,000 [£4,300] one night for a suite.
The Aman is located in one of Venice’s eight monumental palaces on the Grand Canal – the 16th-century Palazzo Papadopoli.
Known as one of the most distinguished waterfront locations, the hotel offers views of the nearby lagoon and the city’s famous Grand Canal, which winds through the heart of Venice.
The hotel prides itself on “celebrating opulence and comfort” and “embodies all that is lavish and sensual about La Serenissima”.
Accommodation offers a variety of suites, apartments and palazzo rooms. Each has unique decor, but throughout the hotel you’ll find Rococo artwork, contemporary interiors by Jean-Michel Gathy, and private gardens – a rarity in Venice.
The so-called Rooms and Signature Rooms feature works by a number of Italy’s greatest artists, including 16th-century architect Sansovino and 18th-century painter Tiepolo.
Silk wall coverings, chandeliers, and woodwork are complemented by chinoiserie wallpaper and gilded ceilings.
Meanwhile, Katy has recently gushed over her other half not only for the way he treats their daughter, but also for the way he acts as a father to her son Flynn, from a previous relationship.
Speaking to the latest edition of L’Officiel USA earlier this month, the singer opened up about Orlando’s relationship with the 10-year-old he shares with model Miranda Kerr, saying: ” I was able to witness him and his fatherhood.
“The way he’s presented himself to him and continues to present himself to him, and the effort he puts in and the distance he walks, I think that’s one of the reasons I have made this conscious decision.
“I said to myself, ‘This is the father of my future children. I could see his kindness, his empathy, his caring and his tenderness. I courted that. I was like, “Okay, that’s different.”
“And this is his first daughter, so it’s a whole different feeling for him. I’m really, really grateful to have him. And he really shows himself in a very emotional way, which is unique to me.
Katy and Orlando welcomed little Daisy together in August 2020, 18 months after announcing they were engaged.
Orlando proposed Valentine’s Day 2019 and in an interview with Vogue India last year she spoke of their “spiritual journey” and called him “a saint”.
The Roar singer also said her relationship with her child brought her the unconditional love she had always sought.
