No 9 Oregon Episcopal 58, No 1 De La Salle North Catholic 51
There will be no champion in three rounds of Class 3A men’s basketball. Charles Willmott made sure of it. The guard drew five three-point shots and scored 28 points to lead the Aardvarks (20-7) over double defending champion Knights (19-7). Luca Pejovic-Nezhat and Ryan Monshi added eight points each for the Oregon Episcopal. Ubedei McGautha had 18 points and George Sadi threw 15 for De La Salle North Catholic, who was behind 30-25 at half time.
No 5 Creswell 74, No 4 Amity 59
The Bulldogs (21-5) took the lead 38-23 after two quarters and led by 28 in the second period in a comfortable victory over Amity (20-7). Tyler Frieze (21 points), Kai Apo (19) and Dallton Dewey (17) finished in double digits and combined for Creswell’s seven three point baskets. Landon Distler had 13 points, and Keenan Graham contributed 12 for the 2019 Amity finalist, who committed 20 turnovers.
No 6 St. Mary’s 71, No 3 Salem Academy 55
Center Tre Foster (28 points, 13 rebounds) was too low and St. Mary’s (16-9) wiped out a seven-point deficit with a huge second half in a crusader match. Will Kranenburg added 14 points for St. Mary’s, who dominated the Salem Academy 44-23 in the last 16 minutes. Benett Bos had 20 points, and Austin Miller and Luke Miller each contributed eight for the Salem Academy (19-6).
N ° 10 Cascade Christian 53, n ° 2 Dayton 45
The Challengers (22-5) went 13-5 to end the game and defeated the Pirates (22-7). Cody Reece scored 13 points, Layne Collom had 11 and Donminic Lewis scored 10 for Cascade Christian, who made 17 of 21 free throw attempts. Dawson Ashley led all scorers with 14 points and Payton Garrison added eight for Dayton.

N ° 1 Clatskanie 60, n ° 9 Harrisburg 47
Olivia Sprague had a 22-point high and Shelby Blodgett added 18 to go with 15 rebounds, helping defending Tigers (21-2) defeat the Eagles (20-7). Clatskanie took a 21-2 lead in the first four minutes and forced 28 turnovers in the win. Mya Langley had 15 points, Hailee Johnson had 11 points and Hope Bucher had 14 rebounds for Harrisburg.
# 5 Brookings-Harbor 53, # 4 Willamina 37
The Bruins (20-6) won each quarter and overtook the Bulldogs (21-7). Lexi Schofield lost 18 points and Sidney Alexander collected 15 points while Brookings-Harbor built a 28-22 advantage at halftime. Kira Rankin scored 18 points with 12 rebounds for Willamina, who shot 23.5% on the field (12 out of 51) and made 1 of 16 three-point attempts.
# 6 Burns 50, # 3 Pleasant Hill 38
Allie Hueckman had 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots, and the Hilanders (23-5) finished with a 46-21 rebound advantage in their win over the Billies (20-4). Kaitlyn Wright added eight points to go with 14 rebounds for Burns. Angeni Yeo had 13 points and Kaylee Martin had 10 points for Pleasant Hill, who led by eight at the start of the second quarter.
No 2 Sutherlin 66, no 10 Vale 57 (OT)
Goalkeeper Jadyn Vermillion scored 29 points, including eight in overtime, to lead the Bulldogs (24-2) to a backstroke victory against the Vikings (17-9). After a 47-39 delay six minutes from the end, Sutherlin went 11-3 to send him into overtime with a blocked 50-50 score. Ashley Jacobs’ three-point pointer gave Vale a 57-53 lead with 2:35 left in overtime before Sutherlin clinched the last 13 points to seal him off. Emersyn Johnson had 25 points and Matyson Siddoway finished with 20 and 14 rebounds for the Vikings. Forward Paige Bailey threw 13 points with a record eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Thursday’s quarter-finals
N ° 1 Toledo 68, n ° 9 Bandon 38
Conner Marchant scored 24 points (including 11 free throws), Clifton Howard had 23 points and 10 rebounds, and the Boomers (24-3) blew up the Tigers (20-8). Toledo’s only deficit was 2-0 before climbing to a 36-18 lead at the break. Braydon Freitag and Cooper Lang each collected 12 points for Bandon, who missed 11 attempts by three points.

Defending champion Pioneers (25-3) used a 33-13 second half to open a close game and give the Wolverines (22-8) an unbalanced loss. Alexander Nicoli led Western Christian with 16 points, Payton Richardson had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Tyron Vanderhoof added 10 points for the Pioneers. Chaz Storm had 11 point team highs and 12 rebounds for Santiam.

N ° 1 Kennedy 50, n ° 9 Shell 36
Sophia Carley had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Ellie Cantu added nine points and the Trojans (24-4) used a big fourth quarter to advance to the Red Devils (23-5). Coquille’s Morgan Baird had 13 points and Drew Wilson scored 11 points, but the Red Devils could not overcome 19 turnovers and were dominated 18-6 in the last eight minutes.

Taylar Daggett, Kylie Marriott and Callie Glenn each collected 12 points, and the Bobcats (25-3) dominated the Royals 29-12 in the second period for the win. Journie Conard punctuated Portland Christian (24-5) with 13 points, Madeline DeLucia added 11 points with 10 rebounds and Carly Brunner grabbed 10 boards for the Royals. Portland Christian made 2 of 17 three-point attempts and missed 11 free throws.

The Eagles (26-1) took a 19-4 lead after a quarter and never looked back in a win over Ione / Arlington (21-7). Jacob Zakharyuk collected 20 points and Spencer Powers threw 18 for Damascus Christian, who led by 19 at the start of the second half. Wesley Goad scored 14 points and Carson Eynetich had 13 for Ione / Arlington.

Mick Schimmel (25 points) had a successful hit flight and three free throws in the last 50 seconds to help the Eagles (24-5) overcome a deficit of 63-61 and lead the Saints (24-5 ) in a 2019 rematch. final. Evan Dallum sank five three points, making up all of his 15 points, a top, and Andrew Stoddard added 14 points with 12 rebounds for Crosshill Christian. Cole Deiter had 14 points and Lucas McKinley had 12 points for Prairie City, who finished 31-18 at halftime.
No 2 Triad 61, No 7 Joseph 41
Michael Irvine scored 17 points, Ethan Roe was 16 and Micah Young added 14 to lead the Timber Wolves (25-4) to the Eagles (22-8). The triad led 32-16 at half time and never lagged. Mason Ferre had 13 points, including three three points, Hadley Miller scored nine points and Chase Murray scored eight points to go with nine rebounds for Joseph.

No.4 Damas Christian 43, No.9 Country Christian 42
Ally Love’s rider with 1:57 to go gave the Eagles (25-3) a 43-40 lead, and they stood up to the Cougars (20-11). Emily Powers scored 14 points, including a faceoff with 2:14 left, and Noelle Wakefield added 11 for Damascus Christian. Lanie Barden had 11 points and Lizzy Grandle had nine points and 12 rebounds for Country Christian. The Cougars led 27-21 at the break.
N ° 7 Mohawk 51, n ° 6 North Douglas 47 (2OT)
Kendyle Gormley made three free throws in the 1:45 final, and Peyton Robinson had 15 points and 10 assists as the Mustangs (24-5) beat the Warriors (24-5) in double overtime. Gormley finished with nine points and nine rebounds, and JJ Nation had 12 points for Mohawk. Nicki Derrick scored a 22-point high for North Douglas, who missed 12 three-point attempts and 10 free throws (7 of 17).
