Last week, the commissioners of the 10 Football Bowl Subdivision conferences gathered in Dallas to try again to agree on key details of the college football playoff expansion as early as 2024.
They walked away with some major issues still unresolved, which means the next trading opportunity won’t happen until January. If you take their words at face value, the back and forth going since this summer has left little time to do so before the current 12-year-old playoff contract expires after the 2025 season. don’t over the next few weeks, we likely won’t see an expanded playoffs until 2026.
